With profound sadness and love, the family of Flora Spivey announces her passing on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of 55.
Flora was born on Sunday, June 28, 1970, in Sumner County, Gallatin, Tennessee, and later built her strong foundation and beautiful life in Indiana, where she raised her family and made countless memories.
Flora was a bright spirit who brought life, laughter, and warmth to everyone around her. Her kind heart, hardworking nature, and strong mind made her a pillar of strength for her loved ones. She was known for her independence, her determination, and her ability to make others feel loved and seen.
She was a devoted mother to her children: Ashley Jackson, Tobbie Scruggs, and Homer Morris, and is preceded in death by her beloved son, Daniel Morris Jr and granddaughter Chloe Scruggs.
Flora was a proud and loving grandmother to: Ameracis Oleson, Bailey Oleson, Harper Morris, Daniel Roy Morris III, Franklin Scruggs, Tyler Foster, and Bentley, and a cherished great-grandmother to Kaymair Pinner.
Flora follows in death her mother, father, sisters, and brother, who has gone before her. She also leaves behind many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Flora’s strength and love shaped the lives of everyone she touched. She lived her life with purpose and passion, always giving her best and never backing down from a challenge. Her legacy will continue through her children, grandchildren, and all those blessed to know her.
Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit will continue to shine bright — a reminder of the love, courage, and joy she brought into this world.
