Danny Johnson Obituary
Born on March 14, 1950, in Arlington, Virginia to Dana and Robert Johnson. Danny proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran before dedicating his life to public service and law enforcement. He retired in 1996 as a Police Lieutenant with the Prince George's County Police Department. Never one to slow down, he went on to a second career and retired in 2019 as Deputy Director of Planning & Accreditation with the Charles County Sheriff's Office.
Danny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Constance Susan McBride-Johnson.
He is survived by his three children, Alison, Caroline, and Griffith, and by his three cherished grandchildren, Henry, Lillian, and Lucy. Danny enjoyed football and movies, but above all treasured time spent holding and being with his grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow at noon on Friday the 13th, at Rausch Funeral Home, located at 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, Maryland 20676.
Danny will be remembered for his service to his country and community, his steady presence, and the quiet love he showed to his family.
