Danny Ray Johnson, of Nixa, Missouri, a man of profound faith and gentle spirit, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, in Buffalo, Missouri. Born on September 19, 1949, in Birmingham, Alabama,

Raised in Bringham, Danny was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Mary Beth Johnson, and his cherished wife, Norma Johnson. Despite the challenges he faced, Danny never allowed his deafness to impede his zest for life. He attended the Kansas School for the Deaf, where he embraced education with enthusiasm and determination.

His involvement with the Knights of Columbus was a significant part of his life, where he proudly attained the rank of a 4th degree Knight. This role allowed him to engage in charitable works and community service, embodying the organization's principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

A dedicated Catholic, Danny's faith was the cornerstone of his existence. He lived his life as a testament to his beliefs, exuding a sense of peace and compassion that touched everyone he met.

A family directed memorial Mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Nixa, Missouri with Rev. Vinesh Jose Tharayil, OSB, PhD officiating.
