Danny was a hardworking family man. However, his greatest joy was found in the simple moments spent hunting and fishing, passions he shared with his beloved wife, Rose Lastinger.
His dedicated work ethic laid the foundation for a successful career, but it was his dedication to his family that truly defined him. Danny's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving a void in the lives he touched.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents Seaborn and Florence Lastinger and his sister Jackie Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Rose Lastinger, two sons Robbie and Rodney Lastinger, five grandchildren Cooper, Erica, Jackson, Mason, and Vivian.
Funeral services to honor his memory will be held at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry, FL, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm with a viewing scheduled to begin one hour prior to the service. An interment service will follow immediately afterward in Pineview Memorial cemetery. The memory of Danny's love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.

Just learned of Danny's passing. Saw Danny first time at his mother's 90 th birthday and all the family. Rose his wife was so a sweet lovely lady. I was so glad to be there and meet family I 'd never met

I first met him when I worked at MIMS POWER CENTER and LOVED him from the start - a great man all around! He gave our Son CHAD ALBRITTON a job mowing yards and he was a little rough on him to start with but accomplished the task LOL. He was always upbeat and happy and always joking around about something,,,,, He did love to cook and was good at it..... So sad to heard this news but we all gonna make the crossing one of these beautiful days. Prayers for his BEAUTIFUL - WONDERFUL wife ROSE a precious SOUL she is...and his two GREAT Sons Robbie & Rodney and family , you are a LOVED family.....R.I.P. DANNY our friend. A.R. Danny was a very good friend, he always had a joke to tell. He was a darn good cook, and loved to entertain. My heart goes out to Rose, Robbie, Rodney and the rest of the family. He will be greatly missed, and always loved.
