Danny Merideth Obituary

Danny Michael Merideth, 74, of Bardstown went to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 4, 2025. He was born Dec. 11, 1950 in Louisville the son of William and Francis Merideth. Danny was a hardworking and dedicated father grandfather and great-grandfather. Danny met his wife Patricia and was married to her March 17, 1973 and spent the past 52 years together. He loved his family and playing Santa for local kids for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Francis Merideth; and his sister, Kathy Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Merideth; his daughter, Angela Merideth Hager, his son, Christopher Merideth; daughter-in-law, Jackie Smith Merideth; hi sister, Denise Merideth; brother-in-law, Rick Jones; his grandchildren, Aaron Brock, William Livers, Makayla Adams Vidt, Bradlee Vidt, Hunter Merideth and Fisher Merideth; and a great-grandson, Bailee Vidt; and his niece, Penny Smith.
The funeral is Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, 2120 Lower Hunter Trace in Louisville. A private burial will be at a later date. Everyone is welcome.
