Danny Delbert Milam

Danny Milam, 75, of Rainelle, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic/Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, with his wife and daughter by his side.
Born, November 29, 1947, in McRoss, WV, Danny was the son of Wanda Fern Chapman (Milam). He graduated Rainelle High School in 1967 and served in the US Navy from 1968 thru 1971 during which time he served aboard aircraft carrier The USS Yorktown deployed in the North Atlantic. He later worked as an electrician in the coal mines and became owner of several local businesses before beginning his career as a General Contractor doing business as DLC Milam, Inc. He spent the rest of his years dedicated to building and maintaining homes and businesses within his hometown and surrounding community. He loved riding motorcycles and tinkering in his garage.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Milam, maternal grandparents, Delbert Kinley and Mary Frances Chapman, and brother, Richard Dane "Dicky" Milam.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Cordial-Milam and granddaughter Katelyn Rogers of Rainelle; daughter, Lisa Morgan (Jason) and grandson Dylan Morgan of Ronceverte; nephews Ricky and Tony Milam of Virginia; and special friend Lonnie Treadway of Rainelle.
As per his wishes, Danny was cremated.
All are invited to gather together at the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center in Rainelle, WV on Saturday, June 24th to celebrate the life of Danny Milam. Dinner will begin at 5 pm and the event will last until approximately 7 pm.
