Danny LeRoy "Dan" Orr

Danny "Dan" LeRoy Orr, 79, of Greeley, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the UC Health Greeley Hospital. He was born March 25 1945 in Greeley to Wendell LeRoy and Frances Marie (Pelton) Orr where he lived his entire life.
Dan graduated from Greeley High School in 1963 and from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
On June 30, 1973, he married Adele Marie Ceballos in Greeley, celebrating 51 years together.
Dan began his accounting career with Garnsey & Wheeler, then worked for Kosmiscki & Dollarhide and later for Ellis & Cap which became B&G Equipment, retiring in 2017.
Dan's hobbies included model railroad trains, jigsaw puzzles, eating at various restaurants, trout fishing, genealogy, but he most enjoyed time with his family. They were members of Generations Church.
Survivors include his wife, Adele, their son, Trevor (Brianna) Orr, his two grandchildren; Dawson and Levi Orr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Orr.
Dan's Life Celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024 at Adamson with a dessert reception to follow. His family encourages "casual dress" to celebrate his life.
