Donald Douglas Orr, Jr., age 64, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on January 19, 2026. He was born on November 21, 1961, in Cuthbert, Georgia, to his loving parents, Donald Douglas Orr, Sr. and Judy Owen.
Donald was a devoted father, family man, and friend whose presence brought strength and warmth to those around him. He will be remembered for his love of family and the care he showed to all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Lydia Orr (Fiz Hossain) of Princeton, Texas; his sons, Benjamin Orr of Anna, Texas, and Andrew Orr of Allen, Texas; his brother, Charles "Chuck" Orr; and his sister-in-law, Charla Hertel (Paul). He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Polly Shmock, who was a second mother to him; his aunts and uncles, Rob and Meredith Owen, and Jackie and Alton Colquitt; along with numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Kimberly Orr.
A service to honor Donald's life will be held on February 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Resonate Life Church in Allen, Texas. The service will be conducted by his longtime best friend, Jeff Morris, and a special musical tribute will be performed by his longtime best friend, Johnny Brock.
His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
