Danny Samora Obituary
A rosary will be recited for Danny Ray Samora at 9:30 am on Monday, July 14, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, immediately followed by a funeral service. The burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery.
Danny, 64, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on June 23, 2025, at his home in Artesia, NM. He was born on August 17, 1960, to Clovis and Beatrice Samora (Alvarado) in Artesia, NM.
Danny is preceded by his parents Clovis (Clover) and Beatrice (Bea) Samora. Brothers Ronnie Samora, John Samora, Alfred (Frito) Samora, Nephew Jacob Carbajal, and Niece Angel Samora.
Those left to cherish Danny's memory are his sons, Michael Leyba of Austin, TX, Sergio (Sarah) Samora of San Diego, CA, Daniel Samora of Albuquerque, NM; daughter- in-law, Tanya Leyba of Austin, TX; brothers, Dean (Sonia) Samora of Artesia, NM, Randy Samora of Artesia, NM, Kenny (Nikki) Samora of Roswell, NM; sister Gracie (Jaime) Aranda of Hagerman, NM; sister-in-law, Adaure Samora; grandchildren, Esparanza, Thalia, Diego, Sophia, Sergio Jr., Jayden, Olivia Grace and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone at Enhabit Home Health and Alexia Ortega who were so loving and caring to our brother and our family.
