Danny Charles Sullins, 72, of Salem, Arkansas, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Calico Rock, Arkansas. Danny was born to Cleo Saul Sullins and Margaret Freda Lavinnia (Hitchcock) Sullins November 20, 1952, in Trumann, Arkansas.
Danny was united in marriage to Reba Faye Moore in Salem, Arkansas. Danny spent ten of his working years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Union City, Tennessee and twenty years as an over the road self-employed truckdriver. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his free time Danny enjoyed mowing his lawn, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and was of the Baptist faith.
He leaves to mourn his passing wife, Reba Faye Sullins of Salem, Arkansas; two sons, Danny Joe Sullins of Mayfield, Kentucky and Gary Wayne Sullins (Amanda) of Clinton, Kentucky; two daughters, Mendi Knox of Clovis, New Mexico and Kallye Screen of Water Valley, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Ray Sullins (Tina) of Elizabeth, Arkansas and Terry Glenn Sullins of Southfork, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents (Cleo and Margaret Sullins) and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
