Danny Lee Ulery

Danny, age 83, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Danny proudly served in the United States Air Force, including time in Vietnam. He had a profound faith and was an active member of Killian First Baptist Church. He was a hard worker who seemed to always be on the go, believing deeply in providing for his family and doing things the right way. Golf was one of his greatest joys and he spent many days on the green. More than anything, Danny cherished his family and friends. He adored them and showed his love through his constant presence and dedication. Danny shared especially close and meaningful relationships with his grandchildren, each one holding a special place in his heart. His love, quiet strength, and steady support will be remembered always and deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Steven "Rhino" Ulery (Annette), daughter, Lynnette Duet; grandchildren Aaron Ulery (Kelsey), Jacob Ulery, Alison O'Brian, Zachary O'Brian; and great-grandchildren, Amelia Kathleen Ulery, Emery Rose Ulery, Laikyn Marie Ulery, Presley Jo Ulery.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Ulery; parents, Jeanette and Melvin Ulery; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 1190 Hwy 51 North Ponchatoula, LA 70454 on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.
