Funeral services for Danny Conner Whitson will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Grant Chapel Church Cemetery.Danny Conner Whitson was born September 22, 1942 in Micawber, Oklahoma to Thomas Allen Whitson and Aggie (Conner) Whitson. He passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at his home in Paden, Oklahoma at the age of 82.Danny was a resident of Paden and a graduate of Centralvue High School in Russell, Oklahoma. He worked many years as a construction contractor. Danny enjoyed fishing, maintaining his yard and most of all spending time with all the babies. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys, OSU and the OKC Thunder.He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Tommy, Ralph and Russell; one son, Darrin Ford and sisters, Martha Geraldine McAfee, Wyona Sands and a baby girl sister.He is survived by Martha Whitson and children, Dewayne Whitson, Mark Whitson and wife Janice, Ladean Shelton and Danna Monk and husband Chad; one brother, Ronald Whitson and wife Dee; three sisters, Pat Stover, Paula Lively and husband Larry and Claudia Whitson and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Ray Whitson, John Thomas Whitson, Trent Allen Whitson, Mike Ware, Terry Ware and Gunnar Wade Whitson.Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Rev. David Hamilton.
