Services for Danny Joe Williams, 72, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 15, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with son-in-law, Chad Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, June 14, 2024 at the funeral home.  Serving as pallbearers are Justin Thornton, Jesse Williams, Zachery Williams, Karl Bilbrey, Howard Bogart, and Carl Herring. Honorary pallbearer is Scott Berry.

Danny passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, in Fort Worth. He was born January 13, 1952 in Cleburne to Billy Joe and Joann (Timmons) Williams. Danny married Elaine Collier on January 18, 1970 in Cleburne. He worked as a Facilities Maintenance Manager for TCU, retiring after 24 years. Danny loved TCU, traveling, fishing and the outdoors. He loved to throw horseshoes and having family get togethers. Danny was devoted to his family. He was known to place others needs before his own and was a true man of integrity. Most of all he loved his grandchildren. Danny will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Elaine Williams; son, Toby Williams; and daughter, Brittney Mitchell; grandchildren, Jesse Williams, Zachery Williams, Presley Shields, Sadie Mitchell, and Rylen Shields; great-grandchildren, Logan Arvel Williams; and sister-in-law, Donna Williams.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Lenny Williams and Andy Williams.
