He loved playing the guitar and singing, and he spent time drawing and painting when the mood struck. He also had a talent for fixing things and could figure out how to get just about anything working again. He was a Christian who loved Jesus and read his Bible daily. His faith was a steady part of his life and shaped the way he saw the Lord.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Ashley Pierce and her husband Dr. Justin Pierce; son, Daniel WInfree; mother, Dorothy Winfree; brother, Dave Winfree, sister, Lena Duhon; grandchildren, Brielle and Brynnlie Winfree, Justin Jr., Levi, Madelin, Emily, and Theodore Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Winfree.
A graveside service was held on July 30, 2025 at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park.
