Danuta Wieczorkowski

Danuta Wieczorkowski of Palm Harbor FL passed away December 6th 2025 at Empath Health Suncoast Hospice of Palm Harbor. She was 85 years old.
Danuta was born August 29, 1940 in Poland to Waleria Polak and Pawel Cibij. She grew up in Wroclaw Poland helping to take care of her younger sister Judy. Eventually she met her first husband Frank Wala in Wroclaw and was married to him in 1961. She had a son named Andrew with him in 1962. She ended up immigrating to the United States in July of 1967 with her 5 year old son Andrew and settled in Rochester New York. She became a widow in February of 1968. She met Janusz Wieczorkowski in March of 1968 at a dinner dance in Rochester. They got married in December 1969 and Janusz Wieczorkowski ended up adopting Andrew. They were happily married 54 years until Janusz passed away in March 2024. Throughout her life she ran an orderly and loving household. She also worked at Xerox doing quality control for over 20 years and worked at Kodak for 3 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sun tanning, traveling, camping, boating, attending mass and hosting large parties with friends and family. In 2023 she moved down to Palm Harbor. Danuta's loving spirit is carried on by her son Andrew Wieczorkowski of Palm Harbor FL, her sister Judy Bessey of Conway SC, her brother Adam Ostrzenski of Madeira Beach FL, her stepbrother Richard Kowalski of Largo FL, her grandchildren Nicole Wieczorkowski of Chattanooga TN, Amanda Wieczorkowski of St. Petersburg FL, Christopher Wieczorkowski of Palm Harbor FL and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Funeral Mass at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church (2405 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, FL 34695) on December 19th at 2:30 PM
Following will be placement of her ashes at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens
1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683.
A repast with family and friends will follow.
