Janice Marie Wieczorkowski, age 77, a resident of New Baltimore, Michigan passed on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. She was born on October 8, 1946 in Detroit, MI to the late John and Gertrude (Donner) Horstman.
Early in her working years, Janice was employed as a Para Professional assisting with young children in Pre-School and Kindergarten classes. She later worked in the banking industry. As an active member in her community, Janice was a devoted member of the New Baltimore Lions Club, supporting many of their activities over the years. During these years, Janice created long-lasting friendships with many of the club members who cherish her memory. She was also a professional clown known as "Butter Cup," always looking forward to participating in the Thanksgiving Day parades. Janice also possessed a talent in floral design, crafting many beautiful arrangements over the years. Volunteering was a big part of her life, not only with the Lions Club, but also during the Detroit boat races known as HYDROFEST where she worked in the hospitality areas for over 10 years.
