Daphine Howell, 97, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at her home.
Mrs. Howell was born on January 22, 1928 in Georgetown, KY to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marion Lynn. She volunteered at her church and the hospital for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Marshal Howell; her daughter, Claudia Sue Barrow; her son, William Scott Rankin; and her sisters, Donna Jean and Joyce.
Mrs. Howell’s survivors include her daughters, Melissa Dean (Billy) Goldman and Marcie Lynn Perisho; her sister, Bobbie Sue Williams; her grandchildren, Hilarye Dailey, Jason (Carrie) Dailey, Adam (Marisa) Kwart, Morgan (Geoff) Love, Amber (Jacob) Souers and Amanda (Connor) Hayes; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will have a celebration of Mrs. Howell’s life in Kentucky in the springtime.
