Daphne Kennemer Huffman passed away on March 27, 2026. Daphne was born in Quitman, TX on November 22, 1937, to Cleon Rainwater Kennemer and Arlon T. Kennemer. Daphne grew up in Fort Worth, TX and attended Polytechnic High School and graduated from Texas Christian University in 1959. At TCU she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She taught in Fort Worth Public School System at Rosemon and Riverside Junior High until 1966. She then moved to Tulsa, OK with her husband Mickey where he was employed with Amoco. She was very active with school activities, square dancing and bridge. She was a member of South Tulsa Baptist Church. She loved to travel and has been to all 50 states and many countries.
She adored her five grandchildren and traveled many miles to watch them participate in sports in high school and college. They loved their "Dabby" so much.
She was preceded in death by her parents in 1997 and by her husband C.R. "Mickey" Huffman also in 1997.
She is survived by her two sons C.R. "Chuck" Huffman and wife Susie of Norman, Oklahoma. Ken Huffman and wife Julie of Pickton, Texas. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Jennifer Villani, husband Ryan and children Reed and Thea of Norman, OK. Taylor Huffman, wife Victoria and son Josiah "JoJo" of Winnsboro, TX. Whitney Howell, husband James and children Hogan, Harvie and Hunter Kate of Livingston, LA. Kristin Albin, husband Coy and children Tate, Tuck and Pax of Livingston, LA. Heath Huffman and sons, Hayes and Hollis of Edmond, OK.
