Daran David Hunt, Sr., age 60 of St. Pauls, NC was born December 30, 1964 in Robeson Co. to the late John Oliver Hunt and Katherine L. Hunt and departed this life on January 17, 2025 at UNC Southeastern in Lumberton.
In addition to his parents, Daran is preceded in death by his step mother, Margie Hunt; one brother, John Hess, Jr. and one sister, Joyce Hess.
Daran leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing, his loving wife, Teresa K. Hunt of the home; two sons, Daran D. Hunt, Jr. of Lumberton; Christopher L. Hunt, Sr. of the home; two daughters, Amanda A. Wilkins of St. Pauls and Lisa M. Hunt of the home; five brothers, Don O. Hunt, Leon Hunt, Sr. and Velton B. Hunt all of St. Pauls, John O. Hunt, Jr. of Tar Heel and Chuck Hess of Tarboro; five sisters, Mary A. Hess of Fuquay Varina, Lillie Hess of Garner, Polly Peterson and Sara Hunt both of Stedman and Marylene Oxendine of Tar Heel; twenty one grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Daran owned and operated D & H Fencing and Decking. He will be greatly missed.
