Mr. Darce Lynwood Chandler

Mr. Darce Lynwood Chandler, age 78, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Chandler was born in Commerce to the late Walter Dudley and Florence Nora Hawks Chandler. He was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War and was retired from Westclox. In addition to his parents, Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Chandler, James Chandler and Donald Chandler. Mr. Chandler is survived by his wife, Phyllis Wood Chandler of Commerce; daughter, Domonic "Dusty" Chandler of Commerce; sons, Todd Chandler and Rodney Chandler both of Commerce; sisters, Shirley Frazier of Gainesville and Chariassee Hardman of Nicholson; and five grandchildren, Wyatt Chandler, Colin Chandler, Bella Brook Chandler, Chloe Chandler and Carleigh Chandler all of Commerce. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
