Darla was born on January 12, 1939 in Lima, OH to the late Sylvester and Beulah (Burkholder) Lambert. She married Lewis Eagy, who preceded her in death in 2010. She spent her life creating a loving home for her family and raising her children. Darla attended Christ Community Church in Ridgeville Corners, OH. In her earlier years, she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Darla had many interests and hobbies. First and foremost, Jesus and church were very important to her. Darla helped to produce many Easter programs at her church in Stryker, OH. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved acting and drama, singing, cross stitching, ceramics, and crafting. She was also a loyal fan of her beloved Detroit Tigers.
Darla will be lovingly missed by her sons: Mark Eagy, Paulding, OH; Rob Eagy, Paulding, OH; Chris Eagy, Toledo, OH; brother, Jim (Muriel) Lambert, New Bern, NC; grandson, Jason (Brittoni) Jones and great grandchildren, Carsen and Blake Jones.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
