A ray of joy that brightened our lives and touched our hearts, Darleene Joy Morse, passed away on January 4, 2024, in Monahans, TX, at the age of 66. Born on January 13, 1957, in San Diego, CA, Darleene was a woman of immense warmth, creativity, and a contagious zest for life.
As a small business owner, she shone brightly in the industry, demonstrating unwavering dedication and bringing her unique touch to every project. Whether it was transforming spaces as an interior decorator or curating extraordinary experiences for her clients, Darleene's talent was unparalleled.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Darleene found solace in indulging her nurturing spirit. She lent her green thumb to the garden club, where her love for Ivy plants blossomed alongside her unwavering commitment to cultivating beauty in the natural world. Her selflessness extended to her involvement with Meals on Wheels, where she dedicated her time and effort to bringing comfort and sustenance to those in need.
Darleene's vibrant and imaginative soul was equally expressed through her poetic words and melodious voice, particularly when she shared her voice within the sacred halls of her church. She delighted in weaving words together, crafting exquisite poems that effortlessly transported readers to worlds unknown.
Darleene had a unique ability to make everyone she encountered feel like a cherished friend. Her welcoming nature and genuine warmth knew no bounds, effortlessly bridging the gap between strangers and creating lasting connections.
Darleene will forever be held in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved children, her sons, Kelly Prine and Levi Prine; her daughters, Emily Eddins and Brittany Harris; her grandchildren, Levi Garrett Prine, Morgan Ashley Prine, Vanessa Marie Prine, Katie Ray Prine, Haven Lockleigh Gaines, and Jonathan Edward Prine; her cherished friend, Norman Engebrecht, who were all a constant source of pride and joy in her life.
To honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Darleene, a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel, where family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her are invited to gather and share cherished memories.
Darleene Joy Morse left an extraordinary legacy through her boundless kindness, creativity, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those around her. As we bid her farewell, let us remember the light she shared and the love she generously gave. May her memory be a guiding light, forever cherished, and forever inspiring us to live with compassion, creativity, and an open heart.
