Darlene Faye Blake (Hesby), 82, of Pillager, MN passed away on March 25, 2024, in Brainerd. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday April 11, 2024, at 11:00am at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter with Pastor Steven Rye officiating. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Burial will be at the Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.
Darlene was born on March 25, 1942, in Fosston, MN to Joseph and Agnes Hesby.
She enjoyed bird watching, sewing beautiful pieces, and playing a challenging sudoku puzzle.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James; her sons Jeffery, Brian and Craig, her daughter Peggy Holden; daughters in-law Kirsten, Lisa, and Shelly; several grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise (LeRoy) Sundquist and Lorraine (Darrel) Koistnen.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Susan and Mardelle.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
