Darlene Boschert, age 75, of Holiday, Florida, passed away, Friday August 29, 2025. She was born in Kenova, West Virginia on April 2, 1950, daughter of the late Betty L. (Castle) and Jesse L. Vanhoose. She was a member of Stratford Heights Church of God. Darlene graduated from Carlisle High School ~ Class of 1968. After receiving her business degree, she opened a very successful business called Word's Inc. ~ a Medical Transcription business. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Robert Fink; and her son Michael Fink. Darlene is survived by her husband, Ron Boschert; her 2 sisters, Freda (Vic) Perkins and Deborah (Darrell) Antill; 2 step-sons, Scott (Jessie) Boschert and Jon Boschert; her step-grandson, Tyler Scott Boschert; and many longtime friends and cousins. A Memorial Gathering will be held 2 – 3 p.m., Sunday September 21, 2025, at the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, Germantown, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m., with Pastor Ray Phillips, officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson Foundation Southwest Region at pfnwo.org/donate. Please share condolences at daltonfh.net
