Darlene Ann Bukovcan

Darlene Ann Bukovcan, 64, of Rib Lake, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at her home surrounded by family and while under the care of St. Croix Hospice.
She was born January 28, 1961 in Orange County, California to Arthur and Helen (Ortega) Salazar. Darlene spent most of her adolescence in Denver, Colorado.
She moved to the Milwaukee area, where she eventually met the love of her life, Dennis Bukovcan. The couple was united in marriage in 1998. They purchased their first home in Racine in 2005, and finally settled in Rib Lake in 2019, where they would spend the rest of their lives together.
Darlene took pride in everything she did. Any job she worked she gave her all and it showed. She enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds, painting, dancing, and cooking. Her family will definitely miss her dancing in the kitchen and her delicious meals, especially her homemade chicken nuggets!
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Dennis; her children, Nicholas, Nicole (Joaquin), and Erica; Siblings, Sarah (Leroy), twin sister Doreen, Debbie (Rod), Patrick, Abe (Tammi), Eddie; and her precious grandchildren, Immagine, Joaquin Jr., Bella, Dominic, Cameron, Layla, Elijah, Adrian, Jayden, Amari and Nick Jr.; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step father Gilbert, brother John, Brother Arthur, sister Denise, beloved Matthew and a few old friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home in Medford with Fr. Patrick McConnell officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
