Darlene Marie Correll

Darlene Marie Correll, 78, of Eldersburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Bridginglife Health at Northwest Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 15, 1947, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Darlene was the beloved daughter of the late Marvin Weaver, Sr., and Virginia (Henne) Weaver. She was the devoted wife of H. Donald "Don" Correll, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage, built on love, partnership, and family. Darlene was a proud homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for others. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures-baking for those she loved, cross-stitching with care, and faithfully stopping at Starbucks each day for her favorite chai. She was deeply involved in scouting for both boys and girls, always eager to support and encourage young people. Known affectionately as "mom" to everyone she met, Darlene had a way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and at home. Above all else, Darlene cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild, who were the light of her life. In addition to her husband, Don, she is survived by her loving children: a daughter, Julia Montz, and her husband, Bryan; two sons, Christopher Correll and his husband Matthew, and Tim Correll and his wife Christine. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Amanda Montz, Finnegan Correll, Zowenn Correll, and Zamarra Correll, as well as her treasured great-grandchild, Kennedy Wing. Darlene is also survived by her sister, Kathy Steigerwald; her brothers, Marvin "Buster" Weaver, Jr., Leon Weaver, and Mark "Pixie" Weaver. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Weaver. Darlene's kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
