Darlene Diel Obituary
She was born September 4, 1932 to Faye and Clinton Phillips.
Darlene graduated from Topeka High School in 1950.
She worked for Blue Cross & Blued Shield for over 20 years, retiring in 1994 from the Auditing Department.
She was united in marriage to Robert Diel on July 1, 1951. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2003.
Darlene is survived by her children Terry Williams, Pam Lilley, David (Pam) Diel; grandchildren, Shane Beavers, Stacy Beavers, Derek Diel, Danae Brandenburgh, and Andrew Pepperdine and 10 great-grandchildren and her brother, Lyle (Marilyn).
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Gary.
Cremation in planned. A Celebration of her Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Overbrook United Methodist Church 1005 Maple St, Overbrook, KS 66524.
Memorial contributions may be made to Overbrook United Methodist Church.
