DARLENE DRISCOLL Obituary

DARLENE DRISCOLL Darlene Driscoll, 85, St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Monday, October 21, 2024. She was born March 14, 1939, to James W. and Madge E. (Carter) Driscoll in Easton, Kan. Darlene enjoyed spending her time painting, reading and crocheting. She also loved her technology and smart devices. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Nicholas Johnson. Survivors include her children, Austyn Waring (Justin), Koll Nichols, Brandi Rivera (David), Janet Miller, June Miller, Julie Miller, Kurt Mietz (Terri), Mark Miller (Rosalyn), and Matt Miller; grandchildren she helped raise, Jace, Brooke-Lynn, and Monica Waring plus 16 other grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. So, sorry! Just now seeing this. My Mother Carolyn Driscoll Seuser was her cousin. I had a picture of them I can't find. One on my phone is blurry. Wish, I could share. She was a great lady. Kind and helpful. Always, a smile.

I love you mom and I'm sorry I was such a disappointment to you. I had to do things my way or I wouldn't be who I am today. I may not be rich or have an extravagant home but I am rich in all the blessings God has given me and I do a lot of good things for other people. I'm proud of who I've become. You wanted me to be a strong independent woman and mom I'm just that. It takes a lot for me to ask for help from anyone. I hope you can see all the good I put out in the world now and I'm grateful you're not hurting anymore. Tell Jack I said hi. Fly high with the angels and rest easy mama. I love you. You were my first real best friend besides my imaginary friend Freddy. I love you mama and I'm sorry for all the trouble pain and hurt I caused along the way. Thank you for everything you did for me and my children. I'm eternally indebted to you. Love you mom!
