Darlene Gilley Eads, 75, of Jonesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was born March 8, 1950, in Surry County to the late James Paul Gilley and Magdalene Cook Gilley.
Darlene loved being outdoors, especially in her garden and among her flowers. She was a talented beautician and worked alongside her mother for more than 10 years. She spent the bulk of her career in the Accounting Department at RJ Reynolds.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Eads and her brother, Terry Gilley.
Those left to cherish Darlene’s memory include her children, Kris (Dawn) Eads and Jamie (Brad) Benton, her grandchildren, Wyatt Benton, Kendall Eads, Emma Benton, Connor Eads, Abigail Benton, William Benton, and her sister, Alesia (Perry) Dickerson and sister-in-law, Diana Gilley.
The family plans a private graveside service.
