Gordon Michael Gambill, 77, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was born September 8, 1947 in Surry County to the late Gordon Otis Gambill and Virginia Lee Holcomb Gambill. Mike was employed with Carl Rose and Sons, of Elkin until his retirement. He was also a proud member of the Elkin Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Melissa Lydia Burton Gambill and his sister Rada Gambill Key. Surviving are his niece and nephew, Donnie and Sandy Burton, and his great-nephew, Christopher Burton. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday August 30. 2025 at Union Cross Baptist Church. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson, NC. Pastor Allen Horton will officiate. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Gambill family.
