Kaye Frances Gambill, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Raymond Road Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Frances is survived by her three children: William Douglas Gambill (Sheila), Norman Bradley Gambill, and Angela Kay Gambill Trehan (Vishesh); four grandchildren: William Scott Gambill, Connor Bradly Gambill (Rachel), Emily DeAnna Gambill, and Anjali Meera Trehan; one great-granddaughter, Kari Camille Gambill; one sister, Carol Lucille Rutledge Moffett Stokes (Jerry); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Monroe Rutledge and Lora Belle Clary Rutledge Ingram; her husband, William Douglas Gambill Jr.; and her brothers, Norman Monroe Rutledge Jr. (Betty), Harold Wayne Rutledge (Glenda), and Charles Brewster Rutledge.

Born in Meridian, Mississippi, on July 21, 1940, Frances graduated from Vimville High School in 1958 at the age of sixteen. She played the clarinet in the school band and performed the lead role in her senior play. After high school, she attended secretary school in Meridian and later earned her associate’s degree from William Carey College.

Throughout her career, Frances worked in sales with Pitney Bowes and later alongside her husband in their family business, Mailroom Consultants. She was known for her professionalism, warmth, and ability to connect with everyone she met. Her strong work ethic and dedication were matched only by the grace and kindness she showed in every aspect of her life.

Frances was a devoted and loving mother who guided her children with steadfast faith, patience, and unwavering love. She poured herself into nurturing their hearts and minds, teaching them to walk with integrity, serve others, and trust in the Lord. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and grace—a place where her children and grandchildren knew they were deeply loved and accepted. Her influence continues to shape their lives and will live on through them.

Frances leaves behind a beautiful legacy of kindness, loyal friendship, service to others, and a deep love for Jesus Christ. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher at Daniel Memorial Baptist Church for more than thirty years and later an active member of Raymond Road Baptist Church until her health declined. She also served her community through the Byram Lions Club and the Jackson Ski Club.

Her gentle spirit, compassion, and unwavering faith touched countless lives. Frances will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Dr. Keith Harris, and Landmark Assisted Living for their compassionate care and kindness.

Memorials may be made to Raymond Road Baptist Church, 4622 Raymond Road, Jackson, MS 39212.
