Darlene Ann Eckloff, 73, of Boonsboro, MD passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Wellspan Waynesboro Hospital. Born June 3, 1952, in Silver Spring, MD, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Marjorie Ann (Grant) Roberts.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Eckloff.
She is also survived by three children, Keith Eckloff (Susan) of Louisville, KY, Brandy Mathews (James) of Keedysville, MD, and Crystal Modesitt (Edwin) of King George, VA; ten grandchildren, Ashley EckloffCox, Claire Eckloff, Dylan, Emily, Luke, and John Mathews, Tyler, Julie, Landon, and Avery Modesitt; one great-grandchild, Eva EckloffCox; one brother, Perry Roberts Jr; and one sister, Deborah Roberts.
In addition to her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by her brother, Rick Roberts Sr.
Darlene loved the beach and mountains, cooking for the people she cared about, doing puzzles, playing with her grandchildren, but above all else she loved spending time with her family and her dogs.
