Darlene Tolle Haggerty passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky.
Darlene was born on May 23, 1941, in Tollesboro, Kentucky, to the late Ruben and Lena Hackworth.
She was retired from Browning Manufacturing and attended the Grace Baptist Church in Maysville, KY.
Darlene is survived by her husband, John Haggerty of Ripley, OH and two daughters Leslie (Tim) England of Davenport, IA and Denise (Tim) Harover of Richmond, KY. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Megan (Zachary) Senger of East Moline, IL, Ryan (Emily) England of Dubuque, IA, Christopher (Amber) Harover of Richmond, KY and Nicholas (Savannah) Harover of Lexington, KY and one great-grandson Nicholaus England.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie (Doc) Tolle, her sister Vina Carver and two brothers, Raymond and William Hackworth.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 on Monday, October13, 2025 at the Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918, KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Larry Manning, pastor at the Grace Baptist Church officiating.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with funeral following at 2:30 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at the Hillcrest Garden of Memories.
