Darlene Hardin, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family October 18, 2025. Born to the late Mary Ann and Claude Aultman, Darlene's life was a beautiful reflection of strength, love, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

She grew up in a close-knit family with her siblings Duffy, Dovie, Donna, and Dolores, sharing an unbreakable bond that lasted through every season of life. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Clyde Hardin and her siblings Dallas and Diane whose memories remained forever close to her heart.

Darlene is survived by her loving children and children in-laws, Leon Hardin, Kristi Fretwell, Brad Hardin, Hether Hardin, Jeff Fretwell, Amy Hardin, and Christy Hardin. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Cory Bean, Katee Bond, Caden Hardin, DeeDee Hardin, McKenzie Hardin, Reilly Tilley, Kagen Tilley, Megan Hardin, Jennifer Sullivan, Katherine Garrett,Levi Fretwell, and Raegan Bellah. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Patty Sullivan, Scarlet Sullivan, Jesse Sullivan, Lincoln Bean, Elise LaNae Tilley, Linkon Dean Tilley, Parkyr Rae Tilley, Emmitt Wesley Tilley, Oliver Kane, James Daniel Garrett, Bennett Preston, and Caden Hardin who will carry forward her warmth, humor, and compassion.

Darlene will be remembered for her love, her laughter that could light up a room, and her gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. Her hands were rarely still, always baking, cooking, or creating something special. To know her was to be cared for deeply.

A celebration of Darlene's life will be held on October 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. In her memory, family and friends are encouraged to cherish one another and to remember her in their own ways, holding on to the moments and lessons she left behind.
