Darlene Jones Obituary
She was the wife of Keith Jones, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
Born January 17, 1956 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent James and Grace (Ruth) Kelly.
She was a graduate of Reading High School.
Darlene enjoyed crafts, baking Christmas cookies and breads, making holiday decorations, music, especially Billy Joel and Paul McCartney.
She loved watching TV, some of her favorites were the Philadelphia Phillies/Eagles, QVC, Action News and General Hospital. Darlene was a good and thoughtful gift giver; she loved bringing joy to others.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her miracle, her son, Ryan, husband of Sarah Jones, of Pottstown PA. Grandchildren: Natalie Grace Jones and Sophie Maria Jones.
In addition are her siblings: Barbara Snyder, Brenda Beam, Denise Kelly and Mark Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Cynthia Klee and Vincent Kelly.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday March 20th at 1pm at the Stitzel Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held in the funeral home from 11am-1pm. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Reading. Casual attire is welcomed.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to: Covenant House New York or to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
The family would like to thank the oncology department and nurses at Penn State Health St. Joseph for their excellent care and professionalism.
