Darlene A. Krynicki

1951 - 2024

Darlene Ann (Malecki) Krynicki, 73, of Middlesex Township, passed away at her home on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024. She was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Natrona Heights, to the late Chester and Helen (Kravitz) Malecki. Darlene was a 1969 graduate of Highlands High School and a 1973 graduate of I.U.P. with a bachelor's degree in education. She was an elementary school teacher for Highlands School District for 30 years, retiring in 2003. Darlene was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Natrona Heights Campus. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved animals, especially her dogs. Darlene is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mark L. Krynicki; and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Malecki and Dr. Gerald "Jerry" Malecki. Friends will be received on Sunday, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Monday, at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m., in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be private.
