Darlene May Lansing, age 87, of Greenfield, died at 3:55 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Hopewell Grove Care Center, Chillicothe. She was born on Monday, May 23, 1937, in Pike County, a daughter of the late Alfred and Leona May Knisley.

Darlene is survived by her two sons; Ray Everhart of Chillicothe and Harley Lansing, Jr., several grandchildren, five sisters; Shirley Hakes of Greenfield, Suzanne (Lawrence) Washburn, Carolyn (Jack) Garen, Alice Ross and Eleanor Bailey, all of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Jane Everhart, three sisters and four brothers.

Darlene had previously worked at Collins Packing Company in Greenfield and had also worked as a nurse's aide in Dayton. She loved attending church with her friends at the Chapel of Hope in Greenfield.

In keeping with her wishes, Darlene will be cremated, and she will be buried at the convenience of her family. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield is serving the family. Those who wish to share a memory of Darlene and sign her online register may do so at www.ebrightfuneralhome.com.
