H. Darlene McGrane 76, of Cheswick, passed away August 19, 2025. She was born November 25, 1948, and has been a longtime resident of our area. Darlene (Mimi) went to school to be a medical assistant and worked in the medical field. She also had many other jobs throughout her life. Her grandkids were the love of her life as well as her great-grandchildren and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving her are:

Husband of 60 years John J. McGrane Jr.

Daughter's Kim (Karl) Narad Sr.

Sherri (James) Pertinaci

Son Richard McGrane

Five Grandchildren James D. (Katlyn) Pertinaci

Christina (Danny) Eyth

Amanda Pertinaci, Karl (Jen) Narad Jr. and Karissa Narad.

Eight Great-grandchildren Anna Cannon, Silas cannon, Zeke McFadden, Daniel Eyth, Eli Eyth, Jacob Eyth, Frya, and R.J. Pertinaci as well as many cousins.

Friends will be received Friday August 22, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. where services will commence at 11am on Saturday the 23rd with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
