Were I to write all of my memories of Aunt Darlene, I would fill this site. She was always happy, joyful, caring and thoughtful. She and Uncle Bill were also great dancers. I have fun memories of the two of them; 'cutting the rug' when I was growing up and in Kansas visiting. Her ever thoughtfulness these many decades since, include her calling me on my birthday each year, even singing to me over the phone, shoed how much love she had for others. She was one special lady ! Now, she is in the presence of the Lord, 'for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord'. I look forward to that day, when I myself will see her and Uncle Bill again; and so many others that have gone before us ! God bless the house of Smoot and all the kinfolk of Darlene and Bill ! In Christ' Love, Larry Patrick, Franklin, Tn.

Dearest Family,
Gary and I are very blessed to have known Aunt Darlene. My fond memories of family gatherings with her bring such warm and loving feelings. May your family know how much she meant to us, and how she treasured her family.
Our love to you all,
Deana and Gary
