Darlene Marie Davidson Williams of Marion passed away at her residence at the age of 60 on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Darlene was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 10, 1964 to Roy Gilbert Davidson and Grace Bartlett Bright. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kelly Styles and Dennis Bartlett.
She attended Glenwood Independent Baptist Church. Darlene was faithful to attend all her children and grandchildren’s sporting events which gave her great joy and happiness. She was a mom to many who never met a stranger and was always helping others. Darlene was a loving and caring wife, sister and nanny. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of forty three years, Scottie Williams, Sr., her three children, Scottie Williams, Jr., Stephanie Gilliland (Jeremy) and Ashley Williams (Vincent); step daughter, Misty Hall (Matt); a very special grandson, Keaton Williams, who she raised as her own; siblings, Roy Davidson, Jr., Betty Ann Bartlett, Linda Lewis (Billy) and Susie Howard (Ronnie); grandkids, Deven Blake (Kaitlyn), Keaton Williams, Serenity Gilliland, Cierra Flack (Kasey), Ryleigh Blake, Makiya Burgess, Anna Williams, Nadia Burgess, Joe Flack, Joseph Williams, Daeshawn Garner, Raekwon Garner, Caliee Williams, Zach Hall, Aidan Gilliland, Allison Gilliland, Sarah Williams, Andrew Williams, Truly McGee, Molly McGee and Azaiah Williams on the way, along with one great granddaughter, Zaylee Dodd.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Beam Celebration Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 11:00 am at the Celebration Center with Rev. T-Jay Addison officiating. Burial will follow the service at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
