Daronda Renay Richardson, a cherished mother and devoted friend, left this world on September 30, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on August 10, 1971, in Lynchburg, VA, she was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. A proud graduate of Brookville High School in 1989, Daronda went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech University, a testament to her intelligence and determination.
Throughout her life, Daronda was an unwavering source of love, strength, and support for her family and friends. She married her soulmate, Clay Richardson, on September 14, 2012, and together, they cultivated a life rich with love and beautiful memories. As a loving mother, Daronda devoted herself wholeheartedly to her four children: Sierra Knight, Steele Jack, William Bradley, and Kayleigh Grace. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love will be deeply missed by them, as each of them carries a piece of her heart with them always.

Daronda found joy in the great outdoors, cherishing moments spent in nature, which echoed her vibrant spirit. Her steadfast faith in God served as a guiding force in her life, traversing every challenge with grace and resilience. A true warrior, she fought for her beliefs and her children with fervor and commitment.
In addition to her beloved children, Daronda's legacy continues through her three stepchildren: Jake, Kate, and Noah, along with a host of family and friends who were profoundly touched by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
Daronda valued connection over attention, and in honor of her wishes, her services will be held privately for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to support her children's future, ensuring her legacy of love and care continues.
May her loving spirit live on in all of us.
