Darrel Arlan Danielson

Darrel Arlan Danielson, age 65, of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Darrel had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing, and walking wherever life took him. His greatest pleasures were deer hunting with his brother, fishing along the river, caring for his beloved cat, and spending time with family and friends. Known for his down-to-earth spirit and genuine kindness, Darrel touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his stepfather, Vernon Lang; his brothers, Lee Danielson (Sheryl) and Roger Danielson (Sherry); as well as his uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Lang; his father, Lloyd A. Danielson; and his sister, Susan Danielson.
Darrel's life was a beautiful reflection of his faith, honesty, and compassion for others. He will be remembered always and held close in the hearts of many.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, December 18 at Christiania Lutheran Church, Lakeville, MN. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church and a reception will follow the service at the church. Interment will be in East Christiania Cemetery, Eureka Township, MN.
