Darrel Glen Randle age 86, of Dardanelle, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 14, 1938, in Sparkman, Arkansas to the late John M. and Nancy Laws Randle. Darrel served as Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, and teacher for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville, Arkansas and a United States Army Veteran. He was the seventh of 10 children to John M. Randle and Nancy T. Laws Randle. Mr. Randle was retired from International Paper Company where he was employed for 29 years. He went to work as a Communication Engineer for Monte R. Lee Company in Oklahoma City for another nine years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Theresa Randle; four sisters, Bernice Harrington, Clara Lea, Eva Griffith, Dora Wilson and three brothers, Randolph Randle, Fred Randle, and John Randle.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Pamela Smith Randle of Dardanelle; one son, Thomas G. Randle (Lori) of Dardanelle; two brothers, Bill Randle of California, William T. Randle of Louisiana; two granddaughters, Lindsay Grace Randle and Phoebe Rose Warren (Jesse) and one great granddaughter, Alice Grace Suier and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
Pallbearers will be Jim Towns, Richard Randle, Caleb Tolleson, Willy Randle, Tony Wilson and John Randle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Randle, Carson King, Dow Thompson, Joe Hogg; all of the nurses on the 2nd floor of Saint Mary's Hospital and Dr's Thorpe, Ison and Lisa Ivy.
