Darrel J. Rodecap

Darrel John Rodecap, 76 of Meriden Kansas died at his home November 10, 2022. He was born November 5, 1946 in Topeka Kansas the son of Marvin R. and Hazel E. Binney Rodecap. He was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson West High School, Darrell served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He also worked for Perry State Park most of his life. He loved to raise a garden he used the produce from his garden, he enjoyed metal detecting, and was an avid reader. Survivors include two nephews Andy Rodecap, Hoyt and Jerry Rodecap, Meriden.
A private graveside service for family and friends will be at a later date. Memorials may be made out to the National Nature Conservancy and sent in care of the Barnett Family Funeral Home, PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066
