Darrel Shelton Obituary
Darrel Wayne Shelton, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in Highland Park Cemetery. He will lie in state from 9 am to 8 pm on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Darrel was born May 2, 1965, in Borger. He worked at Howell Sand and Gravel as a truck driver. An avid model truck builder, he also enjoyed riding motorcycles, doing lawn work and was a gifted mechanic. Darrel had a big heart, and he used it well to serve others. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Frances Palmer Shelton.
Survivors include the love of his life, Kelly Shelton; sons, Austin Gibson and wife Jasmine, Britton Gibson; grandchildren, Aaliayah, Jaxson, Alaina, Jaystin; brother, Carl Shelton and wife Lisa; and sister, Ginger Shelton.
