Darrel Edward Turnage, 63, peacefully passed away on March 5, 2025. He was born on June 17, 1961, in Rockingham, NC, to Peggy Hatcher Turnage and the late Ted Keith Turnage.
Darrel had a passion for yard work and was skilled in working on lawn mowers. He enjoyed antiquing and visiting flea markets, where he sought out unique pieces of old furniture and jewelry. One of Darrel's greatest joys was spending time with his family, particularly his nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved dog, Diva.
In addition to his father, Darrel was preceded in death by his brothers, Ted Keith Turnage, Jr. and David Marcus Turnage.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Peggy Hatcher Turnage of Cheraw, SC; his sisters Lori Wise (Kenny) and Lisa Cline (Cliff), both of Cheraw, SC; several nieces and nephews; and one great niece and one great nephew. Darrel also leaves behind a special friend, Andrea Knight.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.
