Darrell Bliss, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully from natural causes on August 1, 2023, in Brighton, Colorado. Born in Hammond, Indiana, on April 2, 1941, Darrell lived a life of purpose, passion, and love, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Darrell was a dedicated family man and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon Bliss, and their sons, Mark and Erik Bliss. His love and devotion extended to his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Bliss, grandson Benjamin Bliss, and step-granddaughter Ana Griesbach. He also leaves behind his brother, Rodney Bliss, and sister-in-law, Charlotte Bliss, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Charlotte Bliss.
A proud graduate of Rockford Community College, Darrell earned his Bachelor's degree, a testament to his commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning. His education served as a foundation for his successful career as the owner of Design Graphics of Colorado, where he was able to combine his passion for graphic design with his entrepreneurial spirit. Under his leadership, the company thrived and became a respected name in the industry.
Darrell's professional life was marked by innovation and creativity, but he also had a keen interest in the stock market. He was a skilled trader, and his insights and strategies were always in demand among his peers. His ability to analyze market trends and make astute decisions was a testament to his intellect and foresight.
