59 year old, Darrell Cooper Jr., of DeMotte, passed away April 4, 2025.
On September 26, 1965, Darrell was born to Darrell Sr. and Edith (Selby) Cooper, in Valparaiso, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Wendy Gregory, on January 3, 1998, in Jasper County, Indiana. He worked at BP as a clerk for a while. Darrell liked all forms of football, but he loved his children, and especially his grandchildren.
Darrell is survived by his wife: Wendy, children: Megan (Paul) McFadden, Brian Cooper, Nathan Cooper, Wyatt Cooper, his father: Darrell Cooper, Sr., 5 grandchildren, and his sister: Cindy (Bill) Heilman.
Darrell was preceded in death by his mother: Edith Cooper.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Darrell will take place on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Tolleson officiating.
Per Darrell’s wishes cremation will follow.
Memorials may be made to the family.
