Darrell DeWayne Poff Eason, 30, of Scottsville, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on June 13, 1995. His untimely departure has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.
Darrell was a man of many roles; he was a loving fiancé to Nicole Denton and a devoted father to his cherished daughters: Samara Denton, Mackenzie Eason, and Nya Meador. He was proud of his family and dedicated himself to their happiness and well-being.
He is survived by his father, Charles D. Poff; stepmother, Tonia Poff; brothers: Danile R. Fouts of Lebanon, Missouri, Dustin T. Simons of Paragould, Arkansas, Zack D. Eason of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Devon Eason of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Dylan J. Poff of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Shawn Ray of Pocahontas, Arkansas; sisters, Shelby L. Ray of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Carly M. Poff of Paragould, Arkansas.
His paternal grandmother, Ruby Glover of Paragould, Arkansas, cherished the times spent with him, and he will be remembered fondly by his aunts: Patricia Clemets, Louis Miller, and Heather Miller, as well as his uncles: William Clemets, Jeffery Miller and Russell Miller, all from Pocahontas, Arkansas.
Darrell was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Ray Eason and Yvonne Eason; maternal grandmother, Martha Miller; maternal grandfather, Russell Miller; paternal grandfather, James Charles Poff; aunt, Liz Hutcherson; and cousin, Chris Hutcherson.
Darrell's legacy will live on through the family and friends who loved him dearly. His spirit and the memories shared will always hold a special place in the hearts of those he left behind.
The family has honored his wishes with cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
