Darrell Richard "Hut" Glass, 84, passed away peacefully at home ready to meet Jesus on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Hut was a veteran of the US Army and retired from PPG. He was a handyman and builder throughout his life. If you drove anywhere with him he would tell you that he "put a porch on that house there and redid a bathroom in this one, and laid that brick, and I'm not a bricklayer!"
He had a love of baseball his whole life. Playing as a young man and coaching Little League before he had kids himself.
Hut's joy for the outdoors was well known. He was an avid hunter since he was a kid, enjoyed the woods, fishing and later in life had a passion for birds. He was a member of the Barrelville Outdoor Club through the years and supported their missions in the community.
Hut was a gracious man. Giving of himself without expecting anything in return. He was a staple not only to his family but to his neighbors, church and community. His love and devotion caring for his wife Mary Sue, of almost 57 years is an inspiration to all who witnessed it. His love for the Lord and commitment to being a living witness of faith was felt by all. His church, the Apostolic Lighthouse in Corriganville was a place of peace for Hut especially in these later years.
